'Sanctuary' cities are a direct attempt by city officials to frustrate the enforcement of federal immigration law. The Justice Department should not only cut off discretionary grants and spending to said cities. They should be taken into court and be held liable for acts of obstruction. Mayors and city councils should be put on notice that interference with law enforcement is a crime.
