Explain this to me

Post by Grandma Lynn » Thu Sep 10, 2020 2:07 am

Why are some close friends and family
members still believing in the so-called
Democratic Party?
I changed over to being a Republican
after I realized how the Democrats
values had changed.
Before both parties wanted the same
thing, but would go about it differently.
It was after Clinton, who I voted for!
I've said this many times, the Democratic
party is no more.

It's all about Globalist Agenda versus those of us who can see right through it. .

Next question.

I would advise you to listen to Dennis Prager on 1590 AM on your radio. His show is on from 9am to noon. He gives a great "big picture" view of politics in this nation and the psychology of the left. You could also try out his website...

This isn't your parents Democratic party.

Libs had gone off the deep end before they even started rioting and trying to defund the police.

Back then the biggest thing that made them all idiots was believing in climate change as opposed to climates change.

Now they're even worse. Biden is going to get metaphorically curbstomped.

I can try to explain. Modern liberalism is largely understood to have been created by FDR when the government intervened in the economy after the Wall Street Crash. It didn't have to start there. If Lincoln had lived he was gearing up to deal with the potential for robber barons and probably would have passed laws averting the era of child labor. In any event, efforts were made, due to the grapes of wrath so to speak, to understand poverty and alleviate the lives lost to it, by public education, welfare and job training.

When real progressive began to talk about ecology and achieving a high quality of life with minimum drain on the overall ecological system, gangs like General Electric moved in with men like Reagan and fascist scare stories about redistribution of wealth and so on. The outcome was that America walled up behind Civil Rights and abandoned human rights, while crowing with increasingly lewd derision against our finest.

The reasoning is that they hate Trump so much that they will vote for anything, even if it means bringing down America. I don't understand why anyone over the age of 35 would do this, but those under the age of 35 have no clue about history, civics, or economics. They are enamored with socialism because it's "fair" for everyone. They just think that when its done right, everyone is happy and taken care of. They don't realize that socialism kills off those who will work hard to get ahead. Thus most will only do the bare minimum. Then too, it's never been done properly anywhere it's been tried. Heck, no European country has gone full bore socialist. They don't learn anything in Middle School, High School, or college because the textbooks we have are crap!

So basically the Party left you, you didn't leave the Party.

Thanks to all of you!
I realize this didn't just happen overnight.
It seems the Clintons really got it going.
All those years, blindly me.
Everything the left accuses Trump of,
he trumps over them.
Hate of him and others just eats at
you, and I see it in the so-called Democrats.
Yes, the Democrats have left ME, as
ddraig said!
Love America and show it!

Actually, Lynn, I blame the first Milque Toast Bush. He was a deep state insider and didn't understand that the majority of Americans wanted the Reagan Presidency to continue. When he went back on his word about no new taxes, things escalated from there and the Republicans became lap dogs for the next 28 years. It took Trump to bring some cajones back to the party yet he still has to dung out the Republican stalls because of the remaining lap dogs.

I was thinking of him, Bush.
Yes, you are right. I was so
sick of him.
