I wonder what her next move is. Is she still angling for VP? Will she endorse Trump? Will she try to torpedo Trump?D-train wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 12:02 pmIt is officially Trump vs. Biden

She hasn't endorsed him yet, but she will once she gets over her self righteous power trip. Better chance Trump picks Hillary for VP than her. Given how she was completely blasted in this race she has zero political clout.gil wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:19 pmI wonder what her next move is. Is she still angling for VP? Will she endorse Trump? I also wonder where the "Haley voters" will go. I'm sure there are some Democrats in some states who crossed over to vote in the Republican primaries, but other states have closed primaries: you have to be a registered Republican to vote in the R primary. E.g. in North Carolina there is a closed primary and Haley got 23.3%. Will people who voted for Haley come home to Trump? Vote for no one or an independent?
But Trump needs those Haley voters in the general election, don't you think?D-train wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:26 pmShe hasn't endorsed him yet, but she will once she gets over her self righteous power trip. She hardly got any votes and many of those she got were crossover Dems. The Republican votes she got will vote for Trump over Biden no matter what. And besides she will eventually endorse him. She said he has to earn those voters. LMAO Wtf is he supposed to do to earn them?gil wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 5:36 pmBut Trump needs those Haley voters in the general election, don't you think?D-train wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:26 pmShe hasn't endorsed him yet, but she will once she gets over her self righteous power trip. Agreed if there were crossover Dems, that would inflate her totals. But I know there are states (I mentioned North Carolina) that require registration as an R (and not same day) to vote in a Republican primary.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 5:56 pmShe hardly got any votes and many of those she got were crossover Dems. Haley does not help Trump in any way, shape, or form. Thus as VP she is a non starter. She will become one of CNN's or MSNBC's token "Republican" commenter to "prove" how bi-partisan they are. Then she may run again in 2028. But realistically, in Republican circles, she is toast.gil wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:19 pmI wonder what her next move is. Is she still angling for VP? Why? Because she didn't fall in line?ddraig wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 7:32 pmHaley does not help Trump in any way, shape, or form. Thus as VP she is a non starter. And some of the polls over the past few weeks have stated that nearly 85% of Haley's voters in open primaries were Democrats. So less than 15% of her voters will go for Biden.
