What a strange decision by the Packers there. 1st and goal with two seconds left, and they forgo the FG to run it, and get blown up!

Uhm...Ron Rivera should be fired before getting on the bus. His Kicker kicked a 50 yarder in the first half, so the kicking game isn’t a problem. They scored to get within one TD, but instead of kicking an extra point, with 12 damn minutes left, they go for two and fail....now requiring them to go for two the rest of the way. How can a guy getting paid to make these decisions make one that stupid?

i actually like his call in that situation. funny because i just saw the score flashed from the Rams game so i didnt know if that was the situation or if they just hadnt updated yet for the PAT, but i was thinking about it and figured that that would be a smart thing to do. after the TD you'r down 8, but only 6 if you convert the 2, which means you can then win with another TD. or you can tie with 2 FGs. so that way say on your next drive if you get stuck in a dicey spot you dont have to go for the TD, still have option to kick. Or alternative if you dont convert the 2? can still tie with the same oneJTD and a 2-point conversion. In short i just think it gives you more options doing that than just doing the traditional kick.

but enough of that - steelers driving again, under 4 minutes and a chance to ice it vs. the Rams!

On the day Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered the longest touchdown run of his career, he joined elite company with his arm, as well.

In Sunday's 49-13 rout of the winless Cincinnati Bengals, Jackson became the second player in NFL history to produce a perfect passer rating (158.3) in multiple games in a single season. The only other player to do so was Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who had two in 2007.

Why in the love of God did the Rams not challenge that obvious pass interference on the 4th and 10

saints...bummer dude
It was the fourth time ever -- and the first since 2001 -- that a team on a losing streak of at least six games beat a team on a winning streak of at least six games, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The others came in 1973 and 1948.

It was the first time since 2003 that a team with a record of 7-1 or better lost to a team with a record of 1-7 or worse, according to ESPN Stats and Information.

It snapped the Saints' streak of 110 home games in which they reached double digits. They were one shy of the NFL record set by the Indianapolis Colts from 1997-2011.

Talking heads were saying word on the srreet was DQ was going to get sacked if they didn't win. May have been extra motivation.

Big day for the Seahawks' playoff chances with the Rams and Panthers both losing. Now, if the Vikings can lose too...
