Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the Mariners have signed right-hander Kendall Graveman to a one-year, $1.5 million contract.
The deal reportedly includes a $3.5 million club option for 2021 or a $500,000 buyout. Graveman spent 2019 in rehab mode from Tommy John surgery and recently became a free agent after the Cubs declined his club option for 2020. Graveman was a useful starter for the A's prior to the elbow injury, so he's a worthwhile gamble for Seattle.

When I first heard he was a FA, I thought it would be a decent signing, so yea, good move.

And we all know the connection between JD and TJ!

Haha, good one DT, Graveman’s numbers with the A’s were decent.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm sorry. We need starting pitchers who can average almost one strikeout per inning and who give up fewer hits than innings pitched. This guy is terrible... a poor man's Mike Leake.

Guys coming off TJ surgery lately are almost like Colonel Steve Austin. Bigger, faster stronger than before. Hoping for the best but he is just filler for the most part.
