Starting to get the sinking feeling that Haniger's hot start was a mirage. He's been declining for the past two seasons and I didn't like the idea of re-acquiring him. He's gotten meatballs in each of his first two ABs today and completely missed them.

So Rojas is sitting because of platoon BS.

I went to check his career splits and he's only very slightly worse against Left-handers. Like 257 average vs righties and 254 average vs lefties. All the other numbers are similarly close.

Why can I, a common schmoe with a smartphone, look this stuff up but nobody on the Mariners staff can?

Same with Ford last season 900+ OPS vs. lefties and they sat him every time until it through his timing off. Its like they don't have internet access.
