The #Seahawks have played on the road in the divisional round of the playoffs five times under Pete Carroll. They have been outscored 45-7 in the first quarter of those games and 67-6 in the second quarter of those games.

That sounds on par for the course.

Jesus, getting outscored 112-13 in the first half of the five divisional games. A fuckin -99 point differential. But yeah, everything's cool, no big deal.

:roll:

Sigh...

You're talking about going on the road as an underdog against one of the top 2 teams in the conference who are coming off a Bye Week.

@Bears
@Falcons
@Panthers
@Falcons
@Packers

I think it's going to be tough to get rolling in these games every time. I would love to see improvement, but even better is to just go 14-2 and get the #1 seed and not have to worry about it.

Logic would tell you that the team coming off the bye would be rusty and more likely to get off to a slow start.

btw we outscored those same teams 106-48 in the second half of those games.

Come on dtrains, you know you can't win a game in the first half.

I saw this game clearly after the first couple of series. It had the same Niner game two feel for it except the Niners are talented and the Packers are the worst 13-3 team I could imagine.

Yet the Titans went on the road and throttled the Ravens and the Texans jumped out to a 24-0 lead on the Chiefs. Apparently you can get off to a good start against a high seed.

Blasphemy. Pete Carrol coached teams can’t do it, so it either isn’t possible or isn’t the right thing to do!
