Seahawks with victory cigars #5. The purple Viqueens will slip and slide and fumble their way to a Viking funeral defeat.

31-13 Seahawks.......because Kirk Cousins is playing worse than our defense is.

Boy....16, 17, and 20!? I must have really missed something this week with our defense.

We are last in total defense, better than five teams in sacks, and 21st in points allowed. The fewest points we've allowed is 23, and that was to a pretty bad Dolphins team. Though, they did come into the game averaging just over 23 points per game. So we actually held them 0.3 below their average! Of course, that average was driven up against a real bad Jags team and against the Bills when they scored 15 in the 4th after the game was pretty much over.
No, it's the Viking's offense.

You mean the one that averages over 30 a game when they aren’t playing the Colts? Offense isn’t their problem.

I'll take your assessment. But sooner or later, and with the rain expected this weekend, the Defense has to show up sometime, right?

Doesn't really matter. I don't watch anyway because if I do, the Hawks usually lose. I think the last game I watched from start to finish that we won was the Denver Super bowl game.

I think they won that one so maybe you should watch more.

Crazy, Hyde can play, but the plan is to rest him against Minnesota so he can rest up before the bye. Last week, against a pretty bad Dolphin team, we played Chris Carson.
You probably didn't see the Seattle Times article about Carson has a goal of playing every game this season all 16 to maximize his free-agent value.
I guess it just wasn't important enough to have that goal when his contract wasn't almost up?
Really kind of a catch 22 for him - if he misses any games it feeds the aging/injury-prone narrative, and alternatively playing a full season he puts more tread on the tires. and as hard as he runs, can't expect his shelf life to be too long. Used to be when i was growing up that RB was the glamor position everyone wanted to play. The way they are used and abused now, it'd be the last position you would want, at least from a financial perspective.

Right when things are going so well at 4-0, they suddenly play a big fugly in the rain at home, ten million penalties and turnovers, half the team gets injured in the slop and the Viqueens win 11-10 when we clank a Blair Witch Revenge field goal attempt as time runs out.
Even if you are just saying this so the opposite happens...
The Seahawks are less than 12 months removed from games just like this.
