His father, Ryan, told The Athletic that his son is taking the high road. “He was extremely emotional about it, because he felt like he had won the job,” Ryan said. Sounds to me like h...

Never against the Yankees. They used a roided up pitcher to steal our glory in 2000/2001. I only wish the engines will fall off their team plane on their way out of Seattle.D-train wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 4:24 amI thought you wanted them to lose........Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 4:19 amFvck. Re: Are the Hawks waiting to trade for.. .. Clowney?
I'm guessing it's because you believe Penny will contribute enough this season that losing him would offset the gain of adding Clowney. That's not an unreasonable point, as long as you believe they are that good right now to have a shot to go all the way. How about dealing Prosise along with Pocic o...

Re: Are the Hawks waiting to trade for.. .. Clowney?
So why, then, are you against trading Penny for him straight up?
Personally, i'd rather not make the team less competitive in 2020 and 2021 in order to go for it this season.

Re: Are the Hawks waiting to trade for.. .. Clowney?
I'd rather take my chances with someone like Collier for 3 inexpensive years. We already have a decent idea of what Clowney can bring. He's good when healthy, but i doubt he adds enough to make it worth it.

Re: Eason is the starter.
Well, that's what he says but who knows the entire story. I mean, if he wanted to play that much, did he tell the coaches in advance that he had no interest in being the back-up QB? They might have advised him to transfer out months ago in that case. Then he might have actually had a chance to play ...

1 year of Clowney isn't worth a 1st round pick.

Re: Andrew Luck Retiring?
In pass-heavy offenses, defenses can go after the QB with greater abandon. Plus, Luck wasn't all that mobile. He needed a better pass-blocking line than Wilson for those two reasons.
