That's how I remembered it and I think they did too. It was your wording about JS' track record of paying them that caused some confusion. I assumed your main point was that he doesn't balk at shipping out QBs when their contract demands become excessive.

I'm confused, I thought Wilson got traded in the final year of an extension. The above information seems to indicate that he had 2 years left (4 year extension taking effect in 2020) on the 2nd extension after the 2021 season when he was traded. But didn't he sign a new contract with the Broncos?

Seems like a much safer bet than what the Ms did with White and Emerson, and comparable to what they did with Julio.
