Re: Thread for draft simulations:

But you can still push through defenders or move the pile for a short gain. You have to trust in your blockers to help out though. If you hesitate you're more likely to get swallowed up. It takes a more aggressive attitude. Perhaps Charbonnet will become more like that over time.

Re: Caroll To the Raiders

It seems a bit sad to me that he couldn't walk away from it and pursue other things. Was his life that empty without football?

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

Actually charbonnet strength is considered to be his burst. Charbonnet has a good burst and accelerates relatively well for a bigger back. That acceleration allows him to be patient behind the line of scrimmage and allow his blocks to be established before accelerating downhill. He does a good job ...

Re: New OC thread

How would that work? What if Fraley wants to call a run play and the other guy wants to call a pass? Do they play rock scissors paper to decide on it? I would agree, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

Pick no 20 Kelvin Banks Jr. OT Texas #14 overall my trade partner took the 1st OT at pick #18 (#1 ranked OT)= Banks Just curious but why did you trade down with Banks available at 18? #54 Colston Loveland TE Michigan #36 ranked overall (#3 TE) That's weird, Loveland was ranked #16 overall (#1 TE) o...

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

Excuse me but isn't that Charbonnet? Why would they need to add an additional rb? Article on what a Fraley hire could mean Charbonnet is a downhill, physical runner who prefers to run through defenders instead of trying to run around them. In that way, he's just like Lions running back David Montgo...

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

The draft is deep at RB this year, should be able to get a decent situational type of back in the later rounds.

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

Only had one proposal to trade down, and it was with the 49ers, and I would have ended up with like pick 48. So, I thought he was too good to pass up here. Kelvin Banks Jr. OT Texas Height: 6 - 4 | Weight: 324 lbs | RAS: N/A Kelvin Banks Jr. made an immediate impact at left tackle upon arriving in ...

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

I let the simulator do the entire draft and this is what it came up with for Seattle... Screenshot_20250116-092953_(1).png They must use AU. Artificial Unintelligence. I don't get it because just three of those players were at the Seahawks' positions of need as given by Profootballnetwork (or whoev...

Re: Thread for draft simulations:

"Here is a sensible ranking of the Seahawks's needs going into the draft and FA signing period... OG, TE, ILB, DT, C, CB, WR, OT, Edge, S, QB" Because of this, JS will draft a RB with the 1st round pick Oops, didn't mean to leave that out. I would put RB right next to Edge (probably behind). This i...
