Re: 2025 MLB DRAFT THREAD

It still doesn't make sense. You don't draft college position players with these offensive numbers this high. Maybe you take a flyer on a guy in the fifth round or something. Baseball America ranked catcher Luke Stevenson No. 25: https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/mlb-draft-prospects-15-compel...

Re: 2025 MLB DRAFT THREAD

The first round pick was a miracle. The second round pick hit .267 in college. Zunino hit .348 in College. The Draft Day video on Luke Stevenson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owq3dXpNSgE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5oczLHvZ-g Looks like he's got a bit of Big Dumper in him. More running spee...

Re: 2025 MLB DRAFT THREAD

I havent seen anything about anybody but Ethan Holliday, but you guys seem happy with the picks. Sounds like they added some good talent to the system. The first round pick was a miracle. A college Catcher???? I know, doesn't really seem to make much sense unless you are hedging against trading Harry Ford..... It still doesn't make sense. Re: 2025 MLB DRAFT THREAD

In two seasons with North Carolina of the ACC, catcher Luke Stevenson posted a .267/.417/.543/.960 line in only 125 games with 33 home runs, 113 RBI, 107 walks and 125 strikeouts.

In a few years Stevenson could platoon when an aging Cal Raleigh needs more time at DH.

Another big highlight was the Mariners five run ninth inning with 2 outs at Fenway.

Won on Dustin’s blooper to LF.

2014.

I can’t find the video.

Re: Did we finally find a team we can beat GT 7-6

Another shutout! And in sweeping fashion! Also I think the arms are alright now but man 1 run is only going to do it vs the pirates. Hope to see some internal or external moves to get a bat or two. Ms have scored the 18th most runs in the game at 402 (only 12 teams with more) and we know about the ...

Re: evans VS. Lugo G.T. 7-3-25

Do we need a new pitching coach or something? Why are all of our pitchers so wild? They can't find the plate to save their lives it seems - and its not just 1 but just about all of them. The rotation needs 100 pitches to just eek out 5 innings - stop throwing 20 pitches an inning!!! Granted I know ...
