Re: Colt: ROI PPI or an extra year of control

If Colt crushes it in spring training, then he forces his way on the team. However, if he does not crush it, he goes down and stays down all year. You all aren't considering the almost for certain lockout coming. If Colt stays off the 25 then he can play in minors next year. Bringing him up now make...

Re: Spring Training Thread

Im trying to envision a lineup with Refsnyder in the outfield and garver at DH. You can already field a right handed outfield with Julio, Robles, and Arozarena. If you wanted to get garvers bat in the lineup I'm not sure how you do it. Besides I think they go with Knizner anyway Garver and Knizner ...

Re: OT Businesses that you grew up with that no longer exist

Crazy thing to me is the dude in there 20s and 30s stay up all night long playing these days. I haven't played a video game since I was 13 yo when I discovered girls. lol Actually I first kissed a girl in 1st grade. So instead of video games, you expanded the universe by coming up with power cooler...

Re: Spring Training Thread

Julio hit 362 with an Ops over 1,000 in Arkansas and Emerson hit 282 with an Ops of 790 but sure some Scouts pretend they are super smart and say that he's more advanced for some b******* ambiguous intangible reason That is like comparing apples and bikini clad girls. Of course Julio had a much hig...

Re: Spring Training Thread

With Donovan, Naylor, Crawford, and Young, the M's are all left hand around the horn. Emerson also hits left handed. I suppose that gives Rivas a spot on the bench. Bliss coming off injury has an option left to go to AAA. He's gonna return to Tacoma this season for his start. I think the first batt...

When I started 5th grade, I started delivering newspapers for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer at 4:30 am every morning. Heck, that was back when the Times was an afternoon paper. I had that job through college.

Re: Spring Training Thread

It is pretty much a foregone conclusion that there is going to be a lockout next offseason. So here is the dilemma...do you keep top prospects in the minors so that they don't miss any baseball or do you bring them up and then they sit during the lockout, for how ever long that goes?

Re: The official Hot Stove League Thread 2025-26 Offseason

You really need to be careful about sample size when interpreting statistics. 269 at bats is a tiny sample size. That sites supply leverage stats doesn't mean they supply much in terms of valuable information. Can we trust Dom going forward? Who knows, that's really the nut, trying to predict futur...
