Re: The official Hot Stove League Thread 2025-26 Offseason

So many relievers to look at as well. Milwaukee's got a pair in MeGill & Uribe that are flat nasty. Megill standing 6'8 with I believe a fastball that touches 100 but either one would work. I've heard Peralta's name bandied about as a potential replacement for Castillo.

I will say if Duran does get traded to another team and it is for a haul that we could have matched or beat I won't be happy about it.
Ditto that. BTW thanks for replying to my tweet on X.

Re: Top 50 M's

Can we attribute Boone's success to the roids. If so I think just stick with Reynolds & Cora & I guess Cano.

Re: Mariners finalizing 5 year contract with Josh Naylor

I just really like Duran sorry but we could really use some speed somewhere. If we could snag him that'd be an absolute steal. I guess you could theoretically platoon him with Robles possibly with Duran DHing. But yeah when it comes to both Oka & Donovan I don't see why you can't have both. Not real...

Re: Mariners finalizing 5 year contract with Josh Naylor

Good job Mariners. They went public that they wanted him back and then they made it happen early in the off season. Maybe they are learning. I predicted 5 x $90M. Seems I was close. Now sign Okamoto and trade for Donovan. Why Okamoto? Give me Jarren Duran pretty please. Give them some pitching. Spe...

Your not trading for Yandy without including either Uceta or Cleavinger. TB always willing to deal pitchers. Yandy feels like a formality at this point. Makes way too much sense. One thing we know Jerry loves to do is wheel and deal. My main adds at this point are Duran from Boston & Yandy from TB.

You trade for him what happens to Robles & Canzone.
Robles is a bench bat and Canzone can DH or trade him. Its too bad he sucked in the playoffs.
DT do you trade for Duran & who you giving up to get him?

Re: Mariners Off Season Plan 2.0

No on the asians. Nails has gotta be priority number 1. The only 2 trades they need to make are for Donovan & for Yandy + reliever (Uceta or Cleavinger). Duran would be nice as well but don't know if Seattle's interested or if they don't feel he's a fit. So 2 potentially 3 trades your looking at.
