Re: All Stars
I doubt those making the selections are even going to look at WAR. i just don't see Vogelbach making it unless they take 4 DH's. Somehow Pence got voted in as the starter. Austin Meadows is hitting .300 and his OPS is higher than Vogey. Encarnacion is leading the League in Homeruns and then there is...

Re: Seattle Mariners Farm System Ranked....
I'd feel a lot better about it if Sheffield hadn't regressed and been demoted and if Swanson hadn't looked like crap when they called him up to the bigs.
Re: All Stars
There are only three choices, Santana, Vogelbach and Narvaez. Among Outfielders, Santana is 12th in Avg. 10th in OPS and 5th in HR Among DHs, Vogelbach is 9th in Avg, 2nd in OPS and 4th in HR Among Catchers, Narvaez is 2nd in Avg, 6th in OPS and 5th in HR If you divide Santana's numbers by 3 since t...

Re: Unpopular opinion, I would trade Vogelbach at some point this season
Maybe not but Ortiz is 6-3 so he has the frame to carry it. I can't think of a single hitter 6-0 range who weighed north of 250 that remained productive into his thirties. Prince 5-11 275 had his last decent season at 28 Sandoval 5-11 268 had his last decent season at age 27. Mo Vaugn is listed on B...

Re: Unpopular opinion, I would trade Vogelbach at some point this season
People were raving about Ortiz in minors, my synopsis is this guy could be sketchy in the future and I would take the 💰 now. What about him. He was 6-3 230. Vogelbach is 6-0 260 and I think that's a conservative number. Not the same body type at all. http://www2.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Boston+Red+So...

Ackley 2011 ...Tacoma in 271 at bats,.303/.421/.487/.908 ...then with the Mariners in 333 at bats, .273/.348/.417/.766 that same season. Where is the evidence of his being rushed? He was having a great season in Tacoma, came to the Mariners and continued it Zunino on the other hand was hitting .227...

Re: Phillies’ buying their way to Mediocrity!!
The sad thing is that Jerry Dipoto is probably the biggest reason that the Angels have not been able to do anything in the Trout era. He had 4 drafts there and only 2 draft picks that he made have become MLB regulars. David Fletcher and Sean Newcomb who is a reliever for the Braves. His 2012 Draft ...

Re: Leake Seakes Sweape GT 6/27
As much as I love the M's, I have to turn this Radio broadcast off. Every word that Dave Simms says just grates on my ears. Literally every other sentence has a pause in the middle of it while he searches for the word he wants. When ever the ball is put into play he just blurts out things in excitem...

Re: Phillies’ buying their way to Mediocrity!!
I'd argue that Trout is as good as any legend ever. Since his 19 year old cup of tea time he has never had less than a 168 OPS+ he maxed at 49 SB and has a better than 5 -1 success rate. MVP top 5 every year with a few victories, ROY, and at 27 already has 69.6 WAR. The only negative thing is that ...
