Re: Four days turns a career around?

I think Jarred's brain will always be his hang up. I watched an interview done in the dugout after his recent hot stretch and it always seems there's just a lot of empty space where tangible thoughts struggle to collect themselves. He's got a lot of athletic talent, but man... he just seems really,...

Re: Castillo Conundrum

I keep wondering about Castillo's disappearing changeup. A few years ago he had one of the best changeups in MLB and then he joined the Mariners and since then has transitioned to primarily 4-seam fastball, sinker, and slider, with the changeup used as an occasional show me pitch. It is also true t...

Re: National grades are in

As has been pointed out him being a RB2 at ND is a positive. Less mileage. And it is not a small sample. He ran for 1692 yards on 280 carries for a 6.0 ypc and 24 TDs. If you think of that as one 17 game season it is 16.5 carries per game and 1692 yards and TWENTY FOUR TDs. Interesting way to look ...

Re: Castillo Conundrum

When you give a 31 year old pitcher a 5 year deal you have to factor in that it might be an albatross by the end of the contract. I feel like they have no choice but to cut bait. He clearly has nothing left in the tank. Our nancy boy rotation doesn't pitch past the 5th inning so you can't really aff...

So we have replaced Walker and Bryant. Who do replace in the 3rd round?
Mafe or Woolen.
They aren't replacing Woolen with the 96th pick. He was a near elite cover corner who would be making a lot of money right now if he wasn't a total head case.
Woolen was pick 153

Re: OT: Marc James canned at KJR

I had a feeling his time was short when I tuned in a couple weeks ago and he was interviewing a professional wrestler.

Highlight film looks great. Seems to have a nose for the ball. Pretty fast too.

Basically the same size as bryant was coming out and over a tenth of a second faster in the 40.
