Gilbert now with a 2.08 ERA at Home and a 6.00 ERA on the road for the season.

Excited To see what the team looks like with a full year of preparation under their belt and Fisch's own QB running things. I feel like they might be sneaky good this year.

Naylor has never really been a top tier first basemen. This year he is 13th in fWAR, 14th in HR, 15th in Slugging Percentage and Fangraphs has him ranked 18th in Defense. That is firmly middle of the pack. I would like to aim higher especially since we have so much trade capital.

I did not get to see the first 4 innings due to other stuff but seeing Gilbert's stats makes me wonder if he was tipping pitches. Man do we need Walter down the stretch or what? Interesting thought did anyone see this. Redsox using real time data to try and find tells between pitches from the dugout.

Gilbert's ERA on the road is now sitting at an even 6.00.

Solcumb shouldn't have been a surprising disappointment, he was already a terrible pitcher when we made that stupid trade for him.
