Re: Another trade deadline plan.
Pitching has also taken a real step backwards this year, especially in the bullpen. this is a very overlooked fact. People are focusing in on the offense and I do agree we need a couple of Bats but the Pitching is whats going to make or break this team. The pitchers have given up 405 runs in 93 gam...

Re: Trade Dead line untouchable prospects
There isn't a single untouchable to me as long as the return is equitable. The way I see it if they don't win a World Series in the next 3 years Its not going to happen for at least 10. They aren't going to be able to afford to keep this pitching staff together once they reach FA and the Arms coming...

Re: Another trade deadline plan.
Young sucked in April and then snapped out of it but WHY can't a single one of these guys rake like Alvin Davis did. Went back and looked at AD's rookie numbers check out this comparison. Its uncanny! Screenshot 2025-07-01 at 08-45-00 Julio Rodríguez (2022-2022) vs. Alvin Davis (1984-1984) Head-to-...

Re: Oregon approves 800M for MLB in Portland
I personally think a Vancouver Team would be a ton more successful than a Portland team in terms of fan support.

Re: Another trade deadline plan.
Any interest in trying to grab both Naylor and Suarez at the same time? BTV has them at 4.6 and 5.6 in value. I wonder if Something like Pete 6.5, Locklear 2.4 and a few other low level prospects in the 1-2 value range could get it done? Adding a 142 and a 125 OPS+ to this lineup and getting William...

Re: Oregon approves 800M for MLB in Portland
800 Million is a drop in the bucket these days. Its going to probably be a Billion for expansion fee and 2 Billion to build a stadium. Who do they got with deep pockets that wants a team in Portland?

Re: Will Cal be #1?
Cal has 54 HR over the last calendar year. And that's in only 155 games played.

Cal is the fastest switc...

Re: Our really weird WHIP/ERA splits
I don't think its as far out of the ordinary as you think. Rodons WHIP and ERA numbers are almost identical to WOO. Look at James Taillon. WHIP of 1.04 (13th in MLB) ERA of 3.84 (45th in MLB)
M's Staff is 18th in WHIP and 18th in ERA so hard to say there is something systemic.
