Re: Looks like my MLB Broadcast prediction is going to happen
That they would just ditch all the RSNs and have MLB TV be the only option and then remove all blackouts and increase the price to about $300 a year which is still less than $2 a game. I pay $33 a game to watch the Hawks. It was pretty clear that this was the direction they were going. I think we'l...

Re: Vlad on the market
I think the Mariners will be in on this one. Farmelo could be the main piece but they might be concerned about his injury history. My guess is they'll want Montes plus two more bodies.

Re: First move of the Off season!
A few years ago didn't the Mariners claim one of their corporate guys as a 40 man roster specialist? Seems like we've had an endless stream of guys since who underperform immediately for us that they give up on that go on to have success elsewhere. In this case, Miller was lights out in ST and they...

Re: First move of the Off season!
They probably like Chargois him but see him as commodity bullpen pitching, nothing special.

Re: First move of the Off season!
He's got a shot. They drafted him for his hit tool. I think his upside is probably lefty Ty France, maybe a little better.

Re: The great trade a SP or not debate
I picked Drayer, not because she had a convincing argument, but because I hate Salk. To me, it is not a question of: "to be or not to be." But more of a question of what you replace them with. Go get Roki and it makes for the potential of an even better rotation. Go get Blake Snell. Who do you trad...

Re: First move of the Off season!
Yeah, I kind of wondered when you posted that he was DFA'd. They'll put him on the 40 and see how he does in Tacoma.

Rays DFA former M's prospect Shenton. His is a 3B who raked in the Minors and held his own in brief cup o coffee in the Majors with a .745 OPS. https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=shento000aus Rays must need the 40 space. I don't think they have to lose him though as he would...
