As it sits, we're looking at:
2nd round (40) - left tackle.
3rd round (72) - right tackle.
4th round - corner/center
4th round - corner/center.
5th round - tight end.
7th round - safety.
And that's how I would draft.

Re: How Bad IS It?
I don't think you trade Russ.
Hawks have a ton of money coming off the books in 2022. Spend it wisely and finally draft for need.
Hawks should draft an entire offensive line aside from Damien Lewis.

Re: How Bad IS It?
Is there precedent for an a early 30s QB having a down year after a decade of greatness and then return to greatness for another 5+ seasons? Brady had a 50 TD season as a 30 year old. Followed it up with an IR season at age 31 and then a 28 TD 13 INT age 32 season. A lot of people were wondering if...

Re: How Bad IS It?
I'm not sure how a team can be expected to compete when this is your first pick for 5 straight drafts: 2021 - D'Wayne Eskridge. Total waste of a pick. Should have gone the cheap route and signed a vet. Didn't need to waste a draft pick on a short wideout with stones for hands. 2020 - Jordyn Brooks. ...

Re: The perfect A's trade
You would think that Mariner fans of all people would no better than to fall in love with prospects. You have 5 Starting pitchers that should be ready for a shot in the big leagues within the next couple of years and you have a rotation with 4 guys under control for the next 3-5 years. It does you ...

Re: The perfect A's trade
I don't really see the A's making trades unless it's for a bevy of prospects in return. They have the 28th ranked farm in baseball and need to build it back up with volume. For instance, when they traded Donaldson to the Blue Jays in 2014 they got Brett Lawrie (no. 2 overall prospects in the Jays or...

Re: On Blowers... (and M's booth)
Perhaps the thing that annoys me the most is Goldsmith's home run calls.
In his very first reference to a homer, he calls the ball "it."
"It is crushed and it is gone!" It's a ball brother.
"This ball is crushed and it is gone!"
You'll never be able to unhear it. And I'm sorry.

Re: Possible Tanking solution
Baseball does not have near the same taking problem as the NBA and NFL imo. 1 player doesn't drastically change the team like the NBA, and you don't have 1 position like QB that to need to have a high pick in order to draft a highly rated one. I wouldn't do anything major for the draft. Yeah except...

Re: Sodo suggests the lineup might be fine as is
Yeah I don't know. SodoMojo is a place where it's pretty easy to get a role as a writer. Anybody on here would probably get a shot. Fansided websites definitely muddy the waters between what is informed content and what isn't. I don't think the M's are close to done. They'd be pretty foolish if they...

I didn't get that from this article. Seems like they're saying that the current lineup would be underwhelming.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 6:11 pmCAN NOT MAKE THIS SHIT UP.
