Re: Biden Gaff
If anything about politics was real, the so-called leader would be generally well liked by everyone, extremely intelligent, and physically strong.

Re: Boras Speaks on M's
I went to the Rangers new stadium twice this year. It sucks. Artificial turf. Weird seating configuration. Basically they turned field level into club level, and then the regular level is the second level. The cookie cutter entertainment area around the stadium is okay I guess, but super corporate. ...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
Even Wikipedia admits it fucks people up. Wikipedia also has some interesting propaganda posters associated with DST. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time Effects on health There are measurable adverse effects of time-shifts on human health.[116] It has been shown to disrupt human circ...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
Ok good luck overcoming your trauma with a one hour time change twice a year and I will continue to be completely unbothered by it. You can continue to spew DST apologist bullshit, and I will continue to deal with DST exactly the same way as you're forced to, although I haven't used an alarm ...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
All of my clocks now update automatically right down to the one on my oven. It is infinitely easier to do that than f around with the hours schools and business are open which would create massive confusion in terms of people not knowing which schools and businesses do it and which don't. This has ...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
I'm all for getting rid of it. But you start telling kids to show up at 9 and then dad and mom can't be good little bees and get themselves to work on time to keep those taxes coming in for the government. That's all public school is, keep the kids busy. Like herding cattle, so both parents can wor...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
The one argument I've heard that makes sense for Daylight Savings Time is that kids in the last few weeks, in my area at least, are walking to their bus stops when it's still pretty dark out. They could probably leave it how it is now and not have to change it, but then we wouldn't have light extra...

Re: The bizarre thing about Daylight Saving
DST is the dumbest thing ever. You could just adjust your schedule without changing the clock. If a business can have different hours on the weekend, then it can have different hours during the winter. We really don't have to make everyone fuck with their clock settings. I think half of mine updated...
