Re: Interesting article on Felix in The Athletic apparently.

I'm sure a lot of people will tune in Thursday for the send-off. My two favorite all time Mariners are Felix and Griffey. Unfortunately, Griffey left for the Reds and we saw Felix steeply decline at an age where everyone was expecting continued greatness. So, neither one of them were the end-to-end...

Re: Poll on Ichiro

My point is that Ichiro only cared about hits. Setting hitting records. He could give a rats ass about helping the team. I remember him slap hitting into double plays when a sac fly could score a critical run. Baseball is a sport where you can be very selfish and provide immense benefit to the team...

Re: Poll on Ichiro

Never been a fan of lead off hitter who seldom hit extra base hits, seldom ran up pitch counts, and seldom walked,. He was no Rickey Henderson, that's for sure. Seldom ran up pitch counts? He rarely walked, but he was like the master of fouling off 10 pitches. Which Ichiro were you watching? Everyo...

Re: This is One Awful Contract—Miguel Cabrera.

Owners understand the dynamics of signing an aging veteran. The free-agent market is entirely different than dealing with players under club control. On the longer deals for older players, the owners know they'll be "overpaying" versus the massive ROIs they get on the younger players. But, they sign...

It's not who you play, it's when you play 'em.

Re: Thanks China

There's no way for the user to know how strong their stuff is. A simple potency test..at first take a miniscule [infinitesimally small] amount...? Does the same generation that needed to have cooking instructions included on packages of hamburger need this sort of guidance? The heroin addicts I was...

Re: Thanks Mexico

They, the drug users on the streets, are the real walking dead! It's so sad! There are addicts on the streets, but there are also addicts living in mansions. You are right, but they have the money to have the drug and protection. We see a lot of them dying from an overdose tho. The more money you h...
