Re: Mariners extend Colt Emerson

He looks like the real deal, but who knows?

Let’s hope he is more of a Jackson Chourio than a Jarred Kelenic.

Or an Evan White.

Re: Mariners game telecasts

I used to buy an annual subscription to MLBTV But I got frustrated by the fact that the price kept increasing, and they kept increasing the number of blackout games, and games that were only available on other platforms like Apple or YouTube. More money for fewer games. WTH?? I stopped buying a subs...

Re: Spring Training Thread

No idea where to put this - I just read it and thought it was interesting. This thread seems as good as any. Baseball America polled "participating staffers" to see who thry thought would take home the breass ring this season. Here are the results: AL Champion: Mariners (6),Blue Jays (3), Tigers (1)...

Re: C lineup game thread

Ack. I know this is just preseason, and none of this matters...but does any of this matters? Is our pitching staff just trying out new pitches? Are our hitters playing with batting stances and swing adjustments? Because good god this spring training stuff has been horrendous. Is this a harbinger of ...

Re: This article confirms everything I have said

JP will finish out his contract with the M’s and enter free agency as planned. Jerry has a huge man crush on him and will never move him or trade him. But I also think he won’t re-sign him in free agency next year - he will look to backfill from within. JP is fine, but he’s the baseball equivalent o...

Re: Breaking we just got Donovan!

I think offensively? We have some work to do to be better than what we had to finish last season. But we are light years better then what we had to start last season. The Pitching staff could be the difference. If Woo continues on the path he was on? If Miller is bouncing back the way we hear? If G...

Re: Breaking we just got Donovan!

Some luck with health in our excellent starting rotation and good enough bullpen, and WE – COULD – JUST – BE – THE – TEAM to lose to the Dodgers in the World Series. Life is good. Hahahahaha. Yes. Indeed. I think the Donovan trade was a steal - one of Jerry's better deals. I was worried that we wou...

Re: Breaking we just got Donovan!

Happy to see Williamson gone. It was a small sample size, but he didn't look like he was adjusting to MLB pitching. Let's hope Donovan's body holds out - it looks like he's been injury-prone. Dude rakes when he's healthy, and he'll be a solid addition to the IF. As long as he can play a full season,...
