Re: OT Go fund me for a forum brother

I will try to donate some money either this week or next. I lost my mother to cancer she fought it off twice and said if it came back a third time she wasn't going to fight it, she was a RN and she was tired of doctors.

Re: Taking Nominees for M’s Anti-Hall of Fame!!

Bill Bavassi Jerry Dipoto Woody Woodward Bobby Ayala Mallex Smith I cannot see how Woodward belongs in the anti-HOF. He drafted Rodriquez and signed Randy Johnson as well as others (e.g., Boone) that blossomed in the Mariners golden time. I agree but he traded for Randy and Gillick signed Boone. I ...

just because im really bored..

With my wife out of town and I'm really bored I looked up the stats of the minor leaguers that Jerry has gotten Bruce for Scheiner so far Scheiner has hit .273 with 12 doubles, 4 triples, 9 homers 42 rbi, an on base percentage of .316 slugging is .498, a total ops of .814. Only bad thing is that he ...

Re: Ian Miller to Twins

Miller is no great loss.... I think it's about time for the M's to stop fooling around and start losing games rather than players.... But I wonder if they could screw up on a top three or top two pick.... (since 2005... Ackley, Clement, Zunino, and Hultzen were all two or three.... yikes!) And all ...

Who was your first baseball hero.. and why

Ive wanted to start this kind of thread for a while and now that I'm off for the next couple weeks I thought it would be fun. My first baseball hero wasn't a Mariner in fact it was Ryne Sandberg. In 1983 my folks took me to a game at Wrigley and because my dad worked at Sears the big bosses always h...

Re: In Memoriam Seattle Times Mariners Forum

I admit I would come and go but when I was gone it was mostly due to working a lot of hours and didn't feel like doing much surfing.

Re: Probably will get this me killed

Shoot, I just died reading this thread title. So don't feel bad about "getting me this killed" at all. It's a word scramble puzzle. So far, the best I can make from it is "Will probably killed me. Get this?" Nope I was talking like Yoda to my nephew to confuse him and I transferred it to the ...

Re: Minor League Updates

Your probably right, when he first got to Modesto he struggled so obviously the coaching staff gave him some tips.
