Cal at least is hitting the ball harder of late. We've seen him hit a lot of screamers which is nice.

I think he'll turn out to be "fine" for a catcher. Probably a guy who hits .200-.230, gets ya 20 homers, plays good D. Any more would be a bonus. But he's shown some nice signs of life recently.

He has to show he can hit at this level also. Seems to hit well in minors but not here. I would leave him there for entire season. He needs all the work he can get. Facing minor leaguers is not gonna fix him. If he continues to hit, they're not likely to keep him down. It's just not in their plans....

Kelenic likely ends the evening w.o the cycle... He is however 4 for 4 with 2 basehits to left field including an oppo homer. Maybe he's finally figured out that pull happy is never gonna work.
