Re: Jude's Robert trade
Not going off stats just in general. Ty got power, Julio, Haniger, Cal definitely. Just because it doesn't show up in the stat sheet doesn't mean they don't have pop. I'm just saying we just need to re-think this whole approach to hitting. All guys wanna do is swing for the fences which results in ...

Re: Jude's Robert trade
If Robert was auditioning to be a Mariner, 3-12 in the series with 3 dingers wasn't a bad audition. And he amazingly proved he can stay healthy for half a week..... Robert is probably as likely as Haniger staying healthy, and way better. Getting him would give you an outfield of Raey, Julio and Rob...

Re: Jude's Robert trade
think it's beyond a pipedream, its going to be a ohtanI type contract with the Yankees seemily intent on retaining him The thought of Stanton getting into a bidding WAR with the Yankees for Soto gives me a vision of Trinidad and Tobago invading the US with a 57 man "Army" orchestrating a bold landi...

Re: Jude's Robert trade
Julio
Robert
Raley
Canzone
That would be by far the best OF we've had maybe ever.
Robert makes a lot of sense because of the options. And he fits just fine at DH when he needs a break.
Can't get guys to sign here? He's the type you have to go after...

Screenshot 2024-06-07 2.17.36 PM.png Stop putting Evans in packages he is on my untouchables list now. He has been switched to BP to have him up this year. He will be a stud like TB did with Price Some people might say they're showcasing Evans for a trade. People say we can't trade Miller or Woo. T...

Re: GT 6/8: Pretending that didn't happen
The franchise that had Ken Griffey Jr. in the 3 hole for a decade thought that Jorge f-ing Polanco was a 3 hole hitter. Turns out I was over-estimating Polanco when I called him a "20 homerun player in Seattle" and not a moto bat. He had 5 homeruns in his 180 PA when he "got hurt". A 17 HR per 600 ...

Re: GT 6/8: Pretending that didn't happen
That was last October, seems to grasp the concept “We are going to add from the outside,” Dipoto said. “I’ve said many, many times, we don’t hang up the phone on anything. Whether it’s free agents, it’s trades, we’re trying to find the right pieces. We’d like to find one more bat that fits in the m...

Re: GT 6/8: Pretending that didn't happen
Bottom line is guys, this team is just not going to go anywhere until Julio and Cal decide they want to pull their heads out of their collective asses and start being stars. .661 and .678 OPS's... They needed to be in the mid to upper .800's for us to be a serious team. This regression is far and a...
