Something had to give. And frankly Dipoto getting anyone taking on that massive remaining contract, is already a genius!!! He's basically unloaded Cano's albatross contract for Kelenic and change! You know what would be awesome is to take Today's total payroll and divide it by Total War of all players and then pay each player that amount per war. Then increase total payroll by 3% per year. Anything less than one War gets the major league minimum.

Oh I know it's just that sometimes people act like the owners are unable to pay more or they were somehow tricked into the big contracts. Curious how they reward soccer players is it just based on goals and assist or is there other stats that I don't know about. Maybe it's based on subjective measur...
