Mariner Talk Chat Forum

Kevin Seitzer was one of the worst, if not the worst hitting coach the Mariners ever had.

Very well said and 100% accurate. The Zero accountability part is what angers me the most. No one from Wilson to Hollander to DiPoto to Stanton has apologized to the fan base for a dumpster fire of a season. Sad, depressing, but true.

This poster is in attendance to suffer the matchup of two of MLB’s least appealing 2026 teams. I drive past Angel Stadium to and from work and have zero urge to watch this team in person. I'd actually rather watch the teams from the 70s and 80s in person. Let's getting cracking on a time machine. I...

If you put Sloan on the 40 man he is not eligible to play in the minor leagues next season if there is a lockout.

I would trust Wilson or Laz over Ward.

Also, I realize Kirby hasn't been great this season or even good at times. However, he does have playoff experience and if he pitches like he did in that Phillies game, I would take him over Miller.

Tear it down. I would even entertain taking offers for 44. Plays with absolutely no heart. In fact, you could say that with most of the team.

Difficult to believe that Dan Wilson is still allowed to manage this team.

Pitiful.

Superstar? Heck he’s below ml average.

Far from a superstar. His At Bat in Saturday's game in the 5th inning exemplifies his offense this season. Absolutely brutal.

He has regressed instead of improving. 44, 29, and for the most part 12 have been huge disappointments this season.

Season was close to being over in 2024 when he was hired so really it would have just been a 2 year deal if it expires at the end of this season. Possible but I would think a 3 year deal. btw How ridiculous is it that every detail of player contracts are ALWAYS reported but FO and manager contracts...

Whether the Mariners make the playoffs/win the division will be determined by how 29 and 44 play. You can go through the trade deadline moves over and over and talk about the supporting cast, but 29 and 44's performance will dictate the last 2 months, just like it has the first 4. I wish them well.

Finally. Garver should have never been here to begin with. Refblower should have been cut in May. Pereda should have never been sent down.

100% accurate.
