Re: Hawks got great Draft Grades

I know I'm in the minority, but I find the notion of "grades", as applied to the draft, ridiculous. The draft is just one of several means of acquiring players. It does not score TDs or win games. No one knows if a draft was a good one until much later, and even then there are more factors at play t...

Re: 2024 Wins over unders

Hawks are currently at 7.5 lol We won 9 games last season. How is this team possibly 2 wins Worse than last year's team??? Coaching staff 2024>>>>>2023 QB = QB RB = RB WR = WR O line 2024 > 2023 TE = TE D Line 2024 >>> 2023 Edge > Edge (Getting Nwosu back is the advantage.) LBs 2024 >> 2023 CBs = C...

Re: NFL DRAFT chat

The bottom line is, they decided that the player they could take was more valuable than adding more picks later. I don't care what he says now, which is basically saying that. That said? Didn't they say the same shit about LJ Collier, Germain Ifedi and Rashad Penny? Yes, they always gush about play...

Re: NFL DRAFT chat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO8XKdif-LI Look at how much he dominated when he was in 1v1. He didn't get the sack but he sure made Penix uncomfy. To show you how much I pay attention to line play, I went half way through this tape before I realized he was being blocked by two Huskies on nearly e...

Lewis got massively overpaid by a dumb franchise.. Hopefully John won't use this as an excuse to not focus on O line in the draft.
You really think John is that stupid?
Um, well

Re: Not rebuilding this year per JS

Then why was PC canned and JS promoted if they were always on the same page? Some of the D problems was scheme I am sure but if they had good football players on the roster it likely wouldn't have mattered as much. Re: Not rebuilding this year per JS

Is JS lying or being diplomatic, or is this the straight up truth? It seem like the truth to me. https://www.fieldgulls.com/2024/4/6/24122681/john-schneider-role-exactly-the-same-without-pete-carroll-seahawks-news Much has been made over the share of responsibility between Carroll and Schneider, par...

Re: Not rebuilding this year per JS

Well, since Carroll and Schneider saw eye to eye on every personnel decision and did nothing without coming to an agreement that it was the right move, he has to be held responsible for the high draft picks used on Eskridge, Brooks, Taylor, Collier, Blair, Penny, McDowell, and Michael. Not a great ...

This is amazing.....1993 was the last time we drafted a QB in the first two rounds.
So, after the Howell trade, which was virtually the same as a draft pick QB, this is the year that JS will draft
a QB in the first two rounds? Seems unlikely to me.

Re: Not rebuilding this year per JS

I'm not in the mood yet to hang on to every word JS says and believe we are in good hands and on the right track. Every time I think I know something about the cap math, I'm reminded I know almost nothing. It seems like only the Seahawks have to pay a price for bad decisions like Jamal Adams. I hope...
