Re: Down with the Browns game thread

I knew the defense was no better than average, but it appears they are actually horrible.

Re: Clowney

Hopefully Clowney, Ziggy and whoever else is hot can stay healthy. I've been hearing that Clowney and Ziggy aren't, by their own admission, complementing each other like they should, often doing things like trying to come up the same gap etc. I really wouldn't know. I'm always just staring at the QB...

Re: Brock and Salk

So you would think when you have a weird whiny spastic like O'Neill as one half of a sports radio show you would kind of go with a straight man to team up with him to even things out. Kind of like an Andy Taylor to Barney Fife. But no, they go with this bombastic "cool" guy out of towner who is som...

Re: Roughing the Passer

Here's pretty much the same flag as what Ziggy got.

Neither of those tackles are going to hurt a QB.

Re: Roughing the Passer

A rushing defender is prohibited from forcibly hitting in the knee area or below a passer who has one or both feet on the ground, even if the initial contact is above the knee. It is not a foul if the defender is blocked (or fouled) into the passer and has no opportunity to avoid him. I take it the...

Roughing the Passer

ROUGHING THE PASSER Because the act of passing often puts the quarterback (or any other player attempting a pass) in a position where he is particularly vulnerable to injury, special rules against roughing the passer apply. The Referee has principal responsibility for enforcing these rules. Any phys...

Re: Friday Morning Quarterback

Lockett’s toe-tapping TD catch in the first quarter was as improbable as it gets. According to NFL statistics , the catch had a 6.3% catch probability, the most improbable completion of the past two seasons. WTF? Ha. What are the parameters they put in their NFL nerdy statistic machine on that one?...

Re: Seahawks vs Lambs

That was a classic. Pretty much every stupid thing the Seahawks do they did again tonight, but they made some miraculous plays to make up for it. I thought we were going to blow them out at one point in the second quarter, but of course we let them off the hook. With the help of the refs. I'm still ...

Re: Brock and Salk

I like Millen, and I like Wyman, but I really liked Brock. The Go To Baby Moore is pathetic...I laughed my ass off when he told BBK that they only won because of the snow. He about cried in his WAZZU hoodie when Ben told him they lost because they only run 3 plays! Yep Brock is the best. I met him ...
