Re: Player decisions this past off-season

1. Brought back Mitch Garver, hoping for a "bounce back" that is obviously never going to happen. 2. Took a pass on Pete Alonso who would have been easy to sign. Even if he wasn't off to a hot start and just hitting at his average standards, him in the lineup would probably have us close to .500 ri...

Thanks brother. Let me know if you would like us to visit?
Any idea when you’d be around?
Idaho, right? End of June.
Right.

Kilmer died on Tuesday from pneumonia. He excelled in playing a variety of roles. My personal favorite was Doc Holiday in Tombstone.
Not to mention his bat speed and launch angle!

Re: GT 3/31: IT'S STILL EARLY™ II

Reading that Detroit lineup is like a bowl of alphabet soup. I realize I don't follow the MLB all that closely, but I don't know one single player for Detroit! I'm sure Jackson Jobe will look like Cy Fricking Young today though. I only know 5 of them but I can probably only name 5 guys in the entir...

Now the Giants open a 5-0 lead on the 'Stros.

Re: GT 3/30: IT'S STILL EARLY™

I moved to Seattle in 1991, and was a fan through the 2019 season. Throughout many of those seasons, the team was never in the playoff hunt, losing seasons were common. There are plenty of decent teams that don’t make the playoffs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of this organization, but record w...

Re: GT 3/30: IT'S STILL EARLY™

Gilbert on signing an extension “They know where I stand,” Gilbert said of Mariners management. “Seattle has become like home for me, and I’d love to be able to finish my career here.” Raleigh’s new contract, Gilbert said, “definitely” adds to his desire to stay in Seattle long-term. They were both...
