Re: Cazone and the JK return plan
Can we not bitch about a problem that hasn't occurred yet? The hot bats will play, I think that's obvious. If Canzone struggles for a stretch, he'll sit. If France struggles, he'll sit. And if Kelenic can't hit after a week of ABs, he'll lose time if the rest are all doing better. Got it? Cool I'm ...

Re: Breaking: Ohtani with a torn UCL, won't pitch, might not DH
Absolutely zero reason to back off because of this injury. Pay Ohtani as a hitter and put options in the contract that pay him more if he is successful as a pitcher. And forget the “we can’t pay that much for a DH because WAR” BS since whatever you lose by not having him in the field will be offset ...

My Midget :) Midget.JPG Good God, Orange no less!!?!?!?!? Yep, it was my uncle’s. Hasn’t driven since 88, sitting in my garage now. I got it running, working on the suspension right now. Buddy of mine had one of about 40 years ago. I drove it once. Since I'm 6'5 legroom was an issue to say the leas...
Re: The Trade
First of all I was fine trading Sewald. He pitched well for the most part but I was never a huge fan for some reason given the smoke an mirrors aspect of his stuff. Here is a thought though. I think he might still be on the team of JK hadn't kicked the cooler. Jerry felt like he needed a mlb ready ...

Re: Thoughts on the series
It's been two or three years, and I don't remember the source, but I read an article where GMs and hitters were asked about the reasons everyone was swinging for the fences. Basically it came down to the idea that with everyone throwing in the high 90s with multiple breaking pitches, the odds of hit...

Re: Game#: 097 M's vs Blue Jays - Game 1
As stupid as JK’s injury was, I find it hard to blame a guy for being pissed off after failing. Unfortunately he seems to be the only hitter this year who actually seems bothered by striking out

Re: Strike Outs
The real question is why we don’t have new hitting coaches. It’s clear there is a problem. It’s also clear the current hitting coaches either doesn’t have answers on how to fix the problems or don’t have the players buy-in to get them to change
