There's nothing confusing about it. Cal forgot how to hit, Julio is having an okay but not great season, the bullpen is beat up, and Castillo hasn't pitched well and can't be moved because of his contract. Collectively, that's probably 10 wins. Nobody bought into Cal being a star harder than Dipoll...

The M's are such a nice team this year going from town to town helping struggling teams get back on track... they should win the sportsmanship award this year lol

I thought I remembered on one of the broadcasts that they said Only Cal could challenge - basically saving it for the pitching side of things - I think that is why the hitters aren't touching it....

Are they still intending to make Hancock a starter? He looks like a garbage time /low leverage situation type of reliever that can maybe eat some innings in blow-outs.

He'll get 2-3 starts to start the season until Miller is ready...nobody else is ready to go....
