Re: Trade Targets thread
Yeah, just finish dead last for 6 straight years and get top 5 picks, if not the no. 1 overall pick in multiple drafts... and then hoard all of those prospects for a half decade. Just follow that template... it's easy! Yeah, if you don't want to spend money then you can spend time. Is KC in that cl...

Re: Former Mariners tracker
Eddie Rosario's 2024 option was for $9 mil. Atlanta took on somewhere between $2M and $3M dollars to upgrade from one year of 32 year-old Eddie Rosario and three years of backup Nicky Lopez to five seasons of Jarred Kelenic and two years of David Fletcher. I don't see it as a lot of money. Think its...

Just like pointing to the O's success as proof that you don't have to spend to win. Yeah, just finish dead last for 6 straight years and get top 5 picks, if not the no. 1 overall pick in multiple drafts... and then hoard all of those prospects for a half decade. Re: Trade Targets thread
I don't have a problem with striking out per se. But a 32 percent rate is indicative of a slump. How many hitters have been able to maintain a 900 ops while striking out 32 percent of the time? Only 1 this season. Lots of interesting names in this list. Screenshot 2024-06-07 10.41.25 AM.png I think...

Re: Former Mariners tracker
The Braves hardly paid a thing for him. I think Anthopoulos ends up looking like a bandit with this deal . So our math says $15.75M. Per reports from those directly briefed on the finances in the deals, primarily The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal ($), Atlanta assumed "in the range of $15 million" in 2024...

Re: Trade Targets thread
Mariners have an issue with contact. There's Adam Dunn, looks like he struck out about 30% of the time and had a career.854 ops, so there ya go
