This is where it's confusing. The topic is, 'Rate the position groups II'. So that's what I did.

But I'm not projecting, I'm no good at it.

That said, the team made some nice additions via the draft.

Again, on paper they look solid. Hopefully that translates to the field.

To be clear... my ratings are based on where we're at right now, regardless of draft picks and additions, only because they're unproven. I like the addition of Murphy but yes, right now I'm not sold on the DL. Hoping that changes.

Not sure how he could be depressed. Dude coached football for years, made a boatload of money and won a Super Bowl. And now he's being paid to do... not much at all. Life is good. Because he loved coaching so much and I am sure he wishes he could have gone out on his own terms instead of being cann...

That's a fair question. My thought is that they will struggle more with the new schemes and assignments that MacDonald will be implementing as opposed to the competition itself. However, it may be advantageous to struggle with those new concepts against weaker teams which, once ironed out, will hope...

Plenty of reason to think this team could struggle. First time Head Coach. First time D-Coordinator. O-Coordinator who has never been in the NFL and was coaching at Fresno State 2 years ago. QB that took a step back last year and is aging. Injury concerns at running back. No clear answer at Center....

IMO? That one lost Super Bowl probably cost that team at least another ring afterwards.

That call took the wind right out of the sails. Never the same after that. Especially when one considers how difficult it is to get back to the big game.
