Re: Interesting Insight on Top Free Agents

In the comments section columnist Keith Law is lambasted for including outfielder Joey Gallo (No. 39) on the Top 50 list at all. https://theathletic.com/3751518/2022/11/02/top-50-mlb-free-agents-predictions/ My tentative offseason plan has Gallo batting cleanup for the 2023 Seattle Mariners. :D Why?

wtf is with these jokers. Second guy at KIRO compares Bryce Harper to JK. Lunatics.
Yeah, it's insanity. I get being a fan of the player and wanting him to do well but maybe hold off on comparisons to the great players of the era.

Man child inbound in January (or is it February?). Anyway, soon. Fingers crossed this is a new franchise player.

(From Baseball America) Seattle Mariners 2022 MLB Draft Report Card By Carlos Collazo on November 1, 2022 Best Pure Hitter: SS Cole Young (1) ranked as the No. 3 pure hitter in the 2022 high school class and ranked No. 2 in strike-zone judgment. In 17 games between rookie ball and Low-A, Young hit ....

Re: 2B trade proposal

Cautionary note on Connor Norby: His defensive limitations, specifically his range, may be magnified with the new restrictions on the shift. The shift required less range with two middle infielders on the same side of second base. However, his Double A manager touted Norby's defense at second base ...

Re: 2B trade proposal

I'm looking more closely at Norby and would really like to get him. He's the type of player that tends to not get a whole lot of prospect love even though he's given you every indication that he can hit. I think it's just a question of how much the Orioles like him, and if he's on the Mariners rada...

I think she's very nice looking. Maybe they'll breed and start a new master race of super athletes.

Re: 2022-23 Offseason transactions and Rumors

It seems like every year people on the Mariners internet fan sites get outraged about the payroll, but it never translates to any sort of broad-based contempt, or "skewering" of the ownership group. There's one paper and two sports radio stations with declining audiences, one of which is more or les...

Re: 2B trade proposal

If you look at Baltimore's roster last year, they had a pretty mediocre rotation, but not necessarily disastrous and terrible. They're basically a bunch of innings eaters. Adding someone like Chris Flexen to that mix might make sense to them. Flexen isn't a difference maker, but he's probably a high...
