Damn, a buddy of mine kept trying to convince me to buy BTC a few months ago when it was $14K.

I'm actually disappointed that the price didn't stay down longer, wanted to accumulate much more at the lower prices.

The good news is bitcoin will end up at $500,000 before our hair even gets too much grayer.

We've only seen 2 or 3 corporations convert their balance sheets to bitcoin so far.

When it becomes the norm, with a limited supply, there is nowhere for the price to go but up.

To me its not out of the realm of possibility that countries could use bitcoin as their reserve asset.

Then add every individual that will inevitably use it as their savings accounts. The more that convert their holdings to bitcoin, the more widespread its use, the higher it will go.

Many people have bet against whether there will actually be widespread use because they think its a scam or question its use case.. They will call it the money of choice for illicit activity, meanwhile they snort their coke through a dollar bill. I think the bet against bitcoin looks worse and worse every day in every way personally.

People called that guy ☝ crazy when he dumped $500 MILLION of his company's cash into bitcoin at $11,000 a few months ago.

Now it hit $28,000 and they're not laughing any longer.

Like a bulldozer. Nothing is going to stop it from $500,000.

Why do you say that?

Kind of expensive to get into this game at $34k per coin.

I read that China is moving to cryptocurrency soon. Wont the US do the same? What's the advantage to buying cryptocurrency now?

Well, I agree..

Many people said the same thing at $6,000.

And $9,000.

And $14,000.

And $20,000.

Now $30,000.

Limited supply, growing demand are what drive its success.

People know holding their cash dollars means in a year they can buy less with it, especially the way governments depreciate the dollar by constantly creating more of them.

Government creating a digital currency will only make it easier for them to create more digital dollars, they won't make a cap on supply.

Bitcoin is in a league of its own because there is nobody controlling it. It is like the internet. There for us to use, but isn't owned or operated by a person or group of people. It will be there regardless, and there are only 21,000,000 in existence- ever.

Judging by where we are in this cycle, yes, it could drop again, but it could also blow past $500,000. It will certainly be at $500k within a few years imo.

This thread has some good info if you read through it.

Yeah, I read the beginning of the thread. Very interesting. Sounds like you're doing well.

So a guy like me who wants to give it a try with say $1,000. What would you suggest?

Can I return $50,000 from a $1,000 investment? :D
