I have never understood the intrinsic value of gold. Its only use is for jewelry. Will there be any demand for jewelry in the event of a meltdown of the monetary system and the ensuring chaos? I haven't bought jewelry since Lynda's engagement ring in 2005.

I agree.

I stacked silver for a few years and thought it would be the go to asset as they printed the dollar into oblivion. And here we are. No change.

Eventually, and thankfully, I sold off in a stagnant market and got into bitcoin in 2017.

I'm not sure gold and silver are even keeping pace with the decreased buying power of the dollar. Even at its highs recently, gold hasn't even been a very good store of value.

But it shuure is shiiiny!!

The markets are manipulated. I've heard there are 100 claims to every physical ounce of silver. However, we may be on the brink of a major run.

Silver is a low risk / high-upside play. I have gone into physical bullion as well as mining stocks.

On the cryptos I like the privacy coins. (XMR, ARRR) However, I still have mostly BTC for now.

Bitcoin went on a 50% off sale for awhile, has now crept back up near all time highs.

Between now and February I think it will go up to anywhere between $100,000 to $250,000. It may dip again before then, hope so. I'll buy more.

Just posting this so I don't have to say, "Wish I'd said..." when all is said and done.

This is about the point in the cycle I went all in about four years ago. Many alts have gone 100x since, meanwhile silver is about the same price as when I sold.

My biggest problem was being stubborn about selling the silver "before it went up" even though I kept watching crypto and realizing I was missing out on 10x's and 100x's while I was hoping for a 3x from silver.

In at 2.9 cents.

Overall it's up 18,000% this year and there will be others like it.

I hear gold and silver may double annny day now though!

Hope some of you got into crypto, could be a wild few months incoming.

Another nice day for sava. I sold nvta for a little over $1000 profit. Bought at the bell last night and sold at $55.40 this morning. That stock is so predictable. Buy at he close and sell in the morning.
Thats awesome! Looks like you pretty much sold the top!

2 year challenge:

If somebody were to ask me that had $1,000, what I thought they could buy on Coinbase to turn into a more life changing amount in ~2 years, I would put $500 each into-

Band Protocol: $10.50
Loopring: $.40

(I wouldn't necessarily have picked these entry points, but I think with two years, maybe even two months, these could be good sized winners)

What are your favorite stock picks at this point?
Loopring making some moves lately.
