David Gee's vintage lunch boxes

Yep, there was a Planet Of The Apes TV series for one season. This is from the crossover episode where Starsky And Hutch investigate a banana trafficking ring. Thankfully they had the help of the ape version of Huggy Bear.

Is that not Starksy & Hutch being held captive?

It's two actors you probably never heard of playing astronauts Alan and Peter who in 1980 went into a time-warp during a trip to Alpha Centauri (the series was made in 1974 and the producers might have been just a tad optimistic about space travel). Roddy McDowell who played both Cornelius and Caesar in the films again plays a chimp who helps them (talk about being typecast). Apparently the show lasted one shitty season and was canceled.
