'60s AND '70s CARTOON BANDS PART 1

THE AMAZING CHAN:
Horns instead of a bass, and they probably sang like "Gotta whore rotta rove". Pass.

THE ARCHIES:
Weird thing with these cartoon bands is that they had at most one cymbal on the drums. Jughead complained about being creatively stifled but Archie said "Sugar Sugar. Stifle that, bitch".

THE BRADY KIDS:
I get that they had to keep up with the Partridges, but Marcia and Jan's anorexia is pretty alarming.

'60s AND '70s CARTOON BANDS PART 2

BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KIDS:
Awesome name, and the tambourine player (another thing pretty much all of these bands had) is definitely giving off that Susan Dey vibe.

FAT ALBERT:
"I said let's form a GARAGE band, not a GARBAGE band!" - Mushmouth on leaving the band to become a solo artist, as translated by Weird Harold

GROOVY GHOULIES:
Obviously they needed to fire the xylophone player, but if a werewolf and two guys who are already dead don't have the balls to do it, who does?

'60s AND '70s CARTOON BANDS PART 3

JABBERJAW:
Might have been good if the drummer wasn't always dropping his drumsticks. They should have had him trade places with Discount Shaggy on bass.

JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS:
No bass, no cymbals on Melody's drums...this is what happens when you're broke and one of your members is too lazy to learn how to play an instrument.

In solidarity with Neil Young, Max Rebo band members Max Rebo, Sy Snootles and Droopy McCool have announced that the band is pulling its music from Spotify. McCool said of the decision, "OOKY EEKY EEKY OOKY. EEKY OOKY OOKY EEKY."

In 1976 a small-time Philadelphia boxer named Rocky Balboa got the opportunity of a lifetime and went the distance with the heavyweight champion. Later he received a rematch and won the title.

Also in 1976 a small-time Southern California little league team called The Bad News Bears got the opportunity of a lifetime and went the distance with the league champions. However, here they are realizing that half of them will be 13 next year and they're stuck with that shitty second-place trophy for life.
