What ya drinking?

Post by Walla Walla Dawg II » Thu Mar 03, 2022 10:39 pm

This is a thread to discuss what we are currently drinking:

Currently I am drinking a duck-fart
1 shot Whiskey (Pendleton)
1 shot Irish Cream (Baileys)
1 shot Coffee Liquor (Kahlua)

Funny name, tastes great.

Ever had a Godfather?

1 oz. scotch
1 oz. amaretto

Of course, you can adjust to taste. But the bitterness of the scotch combined with the sweetness of the amaretto is pretty delicious.

I'm gonna have to try that.
I love both amaretto and whiskey......well I will substitute in a good blended whiskey rather than the scotch.

That's the beauty of it...you can add/subtract/substitute to taste. And so easy to make. But I would recommend that you try it with scotch first. I think you'll be surprised by how good it tastes.

I always have to remind myself that it's straight booze, no mix. They go down easy and a guy can get lit up pretty quickly ;)

I'm not a vodka drinker, but aside from price I'm not sure how much different the bottom shelf is from the top shelf ;)

Vodka is certainly (mostly) bottom-shelf.
They are just above Mad Dog 20/20.

Unless you are talking about a truly great Vodka.

I avoid Vodka because I can't taste it, well it tastes like Perrier to me....a seltzer water. So experience has taught me to avoid it.

Interestingly I only drink Canadian whiskey when I go out.

Eat lunch.
Eat dinner.

What brand of Canadian whisky do you drink? Canadian Club? JP Wiser's? Crown Royal? Gibson's?

I enjoy a dark rum now and then. Lamb's dark is quite delicious.
