This talk on women's soccer has made me remember a joke a friend used to tell....:

What's the difference between a women's soccer team and a pack of Pygmies?

One of them is a pack of cunning runts.

Bad, right?
Not bad - just don't tweet it though

Spain 1-0 England. Full time

Bollocks.

A typically English performance against a stubborn and organised team who were deserved winners.

RE-MATCH TIME

The European Football Championship, known as Euro 2025 has seen England make the final again, their third successive major final and come up against Spain in a repeat of the World Cup final from 2 years ago.

So it’s the European Champions v World Champions (yes they are both European). The UEFA Women's Euro Final will be played on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at 9 a.m. PDT. The match will be broadcast on FOX and available for streaming on FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports App.

Go Lionesses.

Oh look ..... they are engraving the name ENGLAND on a trophy. Match went to a shootout and England retain the European Championships - England's manager has now won 3 successive Euros having managed the Netherlands in 2018 and also been to 2 World Cup finals. Pretty extraordinary.

The next World Cup is 2027 in Brazil.
