The thing to do is mark the date of this tirade and then monitor the team's performance from that date on. Sounds like an option that might be available at one of the Stat Services...?
Another thing to monitor would be The Ump's performance on strike zone calls moving forward.
Actually I wouldn't be surprised if someone hasn't already done a study in this area.

You don't think Marco wishes that Servais was out there dismantling that ump after he blew the called strike 3 the other day? It shouldn't be Marco's job to have to grill the umpire and then bring it up after the game. Servais should have been out there defending his guy both during and after the game so Marco didn't have to... it's his job to pitch... It's a managers job to make sure his guys aren't getting screwed.

I'd like to see results of the study I just suggested. It's my understanding that the teams can submit to the league office video where they feel an Ump has screwed up. It could be that Servais and JD have decided to choose their battles wisely instead of flying off the handle during a time when these games don't count for much...? At any rate, Servais has already been ejected a few times this year...right...?
