Official MLB Draft Day thread
Re: Official MLB Draft Day thread
4 and 5 round picks are seniors, Baylor Catcher not even in top 500, he will get min signing bonus and aggies pitcher will be reduced to give them a chance to sign the 3 rd round pick IMO

I have not and never will give S. A. Smith a moment of my time or my my ear. Obnoxious and annoying.

Maybe they signed him for his Marketing degree and future MBA.rockycola wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 7:44 pmM's pick another catcher in the 5th round. I like that they're adding more backstops even though it's doubtful he gets very far up the fish ladder but maybe he'll show everybody a thing or two and defy the odds.

They could add about 800K to the 3rd round pick with the last 2 picks if they sign minimum. Wondering if it all goes to the round 3 pick or if they spread it out and get a few more over slot guys later in the draft

Re: Official MLB Draft Day thread
I hate that these senior signs get the shaft. Seems so unfair.
Re: Official MLB Draft Day thread
Getting back to Harry Ford, I was looking at some video on the Perfect Game site, and the swing is a mess. The bat speed is obvious though. The video is probably a year old. Here's the URL: https://www.perfectgame.org/Players/Pla ... ?ID=477275
You can look up other players, like Brady House, and compare. House is just a lot more fluid.
