Was just going to go with RIP JR but thought better of it. He was one of my fav players back in the day. Could have been an all time great if not for the health issues.

What's weird is that by his age-30 season he only had a WAR of 22.2, probably because he had control issues until 1979 and he pitched half his games in the Astrodome. Even with the criteria then, he probably wins 200-225 games and tops out maybe at 50 WAR. Now, if he continued pitching like he did in 1980, different story. Sad that he didn't get the chance.
