To me that's why it is so satisfying to beat the Yankees.
They are a money making machine.
One of the few teams that can pay luxury tax which trickles downs to the rest of the league.
They can buy a championship baseball team every year if they wish and have the capital to make major trade dealine deals.
They have what? 27 championships?
But they haven't won since 2009 so the fans are not as arrogant as I am accustomed to. Still annoying tho.
We are now facing them with a few injured players.
We should step on their throats!
But SS is oh so fragile.
The first home run FiFi gave up last night I would've pulled his ass.
"You don't get to pitch until you're prepared to start a game".
You cannot hope to come back in most games you're down by six runs in the first.
I was so pissed yesterday.

Would love to see it called here. Serves them right for not having a roof. For those that haven't been there it is basically the Kingdome with no roof therefore the KD was > new Yankee stadium. Worst MLB stadium I have ever been to.

After spending part of my youth at the old YS, I don’t think I could ever go to the new one.

It would be like replacing Wrigley or Fenway with one of Boeing's giant Hangars.

The other thing that kills me is that right field front short porch in Yankee.
314 feet. Third shortest in the league. Difference is no one is getting a free homer vs. the green monster in Boston.
And in Baltimore which is an absolute pizza box the wall is at least 25 feet high.
The team absolutely takes advantage of this. I've seen it too many times.
If this game is played tonight hope the bullpen keeps that ball down.

I've seen every one of Clint Frazier's homers this year. All except one I think, was 1 or 2 feet above the fence in right.

M's now have 71 HRs. Only 26 more to tie the 1978 team at 97. Should do that by Memorial day weekend.

Did he ever even have a chance to be a starting pitcher with that name?
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo
