I still think Sewald is our bullpen MVP, but you can go ahead and put a Superman cape on Steckenrider.... We are 11 games over .500???? I cannot believe this! I cannot believe this!!
It just keeps getting better and better! My oh My!!! (Damn I miss Neihaus. How fun would this ride be if he was still calling the games?)

Hey! You are 8 hours ahead of us. You should know the outcome by now.

No, no. Don't tell us.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it before. Classic web forum timezone joke. :D

I promise no spoilers in future threads
Also, classic, stupid Dad joke, too. I can live with it :P
I was gonna call it a dad-joke didn't know the cultural reference travelled both sides. :D Clearly universal

still you would think the guy had played some middle infield sometime growing up and would at least know how to sling the ball a little bit. 10 year olds can figure it out just by watching games on t.v. why can't a guy who has been around baseball his entire life.
Oh but this win means that our record after the Toro/Graveman trade is better than before the trade. Just mind boggling isn't it.
Its actually not. But even if it was, they are still 3-4 games worse than they would have been without the trade. We would be in the wildcard spot if they had kept Graveman.
You mean the same one that let us get one in Houston, are no guarantees in life or baseball

New high water point and still room for improvement imo.

Hopefully even the naysayers can get on board and have fun now. Better record after the trade than before. How 'bout that.

SS just said a 6-2 road trip with -9 run differential but plus 90 fun differential. Even he is cracking the dad jokes.

Well deserved day at home then Royals. Cannot take them lightly they are pesky. Gonna be a tough series against them. We seem to play even better at home so that's always good.

Okay so before the Graveman trade, we were 55-46 for a .5445 win percentage.

After the Graveman trade, we are 14-12 for a .5384 win percentage.

Very close, but technically Captain is right. No doubt there was a hangover effect for a least a week following the trade where we were losing pretty consistently, along with some blown saves.

Personally I've moved on from that discussion and am just trying to enjoy the ride.

Interesting Yankees have been on fire post trade deadline but Oakland loser of 9-12 who gave up huge prospects for an upgrade and Blue Jays who have up a kings ransom for their player upgrade have both faltered. Sometime prospects traded away don’t give you wins

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

And Kelenic didn't suck today. Probably felt Bauers nipping at his heels.

What a bounce back from Friday and Saturday. Now just have to make sure the Royals don't pull a Tigers on us.

Great win!
I just got home to see the highlights.
Hell of a day....made me miss the day game.
Well we have our chances boys.
Feels like we will do O.K. vs Oakland and hopefully will play better vs Houston down the stretch.
Exciting. Let the kids play!
