Devers 2 run shot give Boston 7-5 lead in the 9th. This looks to be loss will not hurt as much now.

Sims-bashing gets a one day reprieve from me today. Next season, business as usual. 8-)

SADLER ends his season not giving up almost any runs at all. What a season for him. Hoping he can keep it going next year.

A win would be nice but we are wasting so many chances. It just feels like a game where offens can't help out pitching.

We've got 6 precious outs to score 5 runs.
How do you kill Angels?

Wow. Freakin RedSox and Yankees. I hate both teams with a passion.
Sucks.

Seriously. Great stuff from Sadler this year.
And, great performance by most of bullpen all year. So great, I don't think it's sustainable and we'll definitely have to make up for it with better bats plus development from young players.

Didn't it seem inevitable though? Red Sox/Yankees wildcard game. Not that there was some grand conspiracy (Rays wouldn't have won the division), but east-coast media is really happy right now.
