Settle down Gilbert gotta throw more then just your fastball. Get out of this inning
His secondary offerings aren't working. He can't seem to locate.
You can't be effective in the majors without some command of secondary pitches. He was poor there last year as well. I honestly think Kirby is a better pitcher than Gilbert at this point.

At this rate he'll reach his pitch limit in the 3rd inning lol.

This offense really needs to start picking it up.

Anyone else think Kirby looks more refined than Gilbert?
2-0 count. Middle, middle fastball. Deposited.
He had a 2.70 ERA in Sept with a .598 OPS against. I would give him more than an inning.

Kirby is better just needs more polish and more innings. Then he will be here.

Chance for a 4 strikeout inning. Needs this final out. Murphy making him throw even more pitches.

Overall good start for Logan, especially if that's his version of "shaking off the cobwebs"

Well at least he is racking up his strikeouts. Still though tons of pitches. Good thing pen is well rested.
