Shoot I wanted to see him get 4 Ks in the inning.
What was the final out?
Nevermind no error.

This offense really needs to start picking it up.

Anyone else think Kirby looks more refined than Gilbert?
2-0 count. Middle, middle fastball. Deposited.
He had a 2.70 ERA in Sept with a .598 OPS against. I would give him more than an inning.
He just seems like more of a thrower than a pitcher to me. There seems to be very little strategy in his craft... he basically just tries to throw it as hard as a he can - damn location. His secondary stuff is still well below average.

I had hoped to see some changes in him. He looks the same.

He did work with Degrom this off season so far not showing any change

I don't care if he throws slow pitch under hand. I would be fine with his Sept numbers.

It's the Minnesota "frost-layer." Mariners historically bad against various types of layers.

Fuck off ump

Auto strike zone can't come soon enough. There's nothing sacred, or worth-saving, about the tradition of shitty ball/strike calls.
