Ump missed a 3rd strike call to end the inning right down the middle. Then the hitter ground into a weak chopper at 3rd which Toro bare handed beautifully but his throw was wonky and up the line, which lead France to stretch his glove out into the base running path. As soon as he caught it, the runner collided with France's glove and jerked his arm, shoulder, elbow who knows in a funky and painful direction, in which the glove came off.
The way he went down and for how long I am sure he heard a pop. Those injuries are never good. Best hitter on the team taken out and now our worst hitter might have a damn job. Toro did that on fucking purpose. He wants a starting job. Can't hit and helps getting our best player hurt. Scott your boy did it again. Suarez makes a good throw on that.
Here's what needs to be done: DFA Toro right now, and drill whoever the batter was with high fastballs the rest of the game. Also, call a pitchout and jump off the plate as the pitcher "accidentally" fires one right down the middle.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:04 pmToro threw the ball offline toward home plate side of 1st and forced France's arm to be bent back hard by the runner.

He is getting rewarded though. Only him and Moore know how to play first. He will get plenty of playing time.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 9:04 pmToro threw the ball offline toward home plate side of 1st and forced France's arm to be bent back hard by the runner.

Padlo plays a little 1B.. Could bring up Zach Green from Tacoma, I suppose. His teammate, Joseph Odom plays both 1B & catcher.
